Forrest Gump

The movie opens with a feather floating down in slow motion to Forrest’s feet as he waits for a bus. This moment sums up the entire story: a life of coincidences and improbable events, centered on a man who views the world with childlike wonder.

Forrest is raised in a small town and faces ridicule and physical limitations. His life has been a chain of astonishing encounters, from saving fellow soldiers in Vietnam to participating in historic moments.
