Gladiator II
Overview
In a fractured empire ruled by greed and betrayal, one man’s journey from despair to destiny ignites the spark of rebellion. Sixteen years after Marcus Aurelius has died, the corrupt twin emperors, Geta and Caracalla, drive Rome to the edge of chaos. In the far-off kingdom of Numidia, Hanno has lost everything to the Roman army — his homeland, his wife, and his freedom. Thrown into the bloody arenas as a glimmering piece of meat hurling for his life, Hanno must fight not only to survive but to enact revenge on the man who ruined his life.
But beneath the roar of the Colosseum, secrets start to bubble to the surface. Hanno’s bloodline connects him to Rome’s greatest heroes, and his destiny is intertwined with the survival of the empire itself. Hanno becomes a source of hope or allowing the equally powerful forces he is fighting to eat him alive.
