Will Hunting, a 20-year-old genius from South Boston, is a whiz kid hiding his talents behind a rebellious exterior. As a janitor at MIT, he solves a notoriously difficult math, and donates his answer anonymously, confounding even the finest minds. But Will’s life isn’t a numbers game — a wild past and combative spirit mean he’s always at cross-purposes with authority. But when a run-in with the law lands him in therapy with the unconventional Sean Maguire, the walls Will has built around himself begin to crumble. Through tender break-throughs, emotional struggles and an opportunity for love, Will will grapple with his biggest challenge: believing he deserved more than his history.
