Mad Max: Fury Road

Set in a post-apocalyptic society where the previous civilization was destroyed by war over limited resources, the wasteland of Australia, known as the Wasteland, is ruled by anarchy and raider clans. The sun beats down upon the land relentlessly, and the oceans have turned to desolate wastelands. Max Rockatansky is a haunted wanderer terrorizing the Wasteland haunted by his past. Seized by a mad warlord, Immortan Joe, who rules the Citadel like some terrible god, Max becomes a plaything in a savage caste system powered by water and blood.

In the midst of this mess, a warrior named Furiosa defies her master, and flees with his prized “wives” in pursuit of a legendary paradise called the Green Place. The pair are chased by an army of monstrous vehicles and feral warriors, and must form an uneasy alliance to survive a dogged pursuit over blistering deserts, murderous swamps and deadly storms. Shrouded with mystery and laced with weakened warmth, the line between survival and redemption melts further with each mile, as the duo fights their way against impossible odds in a race to hope—and vengeance.
