High schooler Peter Parker's life is forever changed during a class trip to an advanced genetics lab. After he is bitten by a genetically engineered spider, Peter wakes to find he has developed exceptional abilities — superhuman strength, agility and a “spider-sense” that alerts him to danger. At the same time, Norman Osborn, a genius scientist and the father of Peter’s best friend Harry, falls victim to a dangerous experimental compound that drives him insane and transforms him into the nefarious Green Goblin. While Peter uses the mask of Spider-Man to battle crime, his path crosses with the Goblin’s deadly plans, endangering those he holds dear, including Mary Jane, the girl he secretly loves. Will Peter step up to be a hero or is the price too steep?
