WALL·E

Set in a far-off, stark future, Earth is sunk beneath mounds of refuse; humanity was long ago forced to leave the planet. The cleanup for that is left to tireless robots like WALL-E, a curious, resourceful piece of machinery who has spent centuries stacking trash into monolithic towers of history. But in the bleakness, WALL-E finds a glimmer of life — an unlikely plant — and, with it, a kernel of hope. His monotony is upended with the arrival of EVE, a stylish and driven robot, who arrives on a mission to find evidence of life. What starts as an unlikely collaboration transforms into a stunning cosmic odyssey. As WALL-E trails EVE to an enormous starship, he wreaks havoc and transformation in its human inhabitants — who have lost touch with the world in which they once lived.
