Marie Talon
Biography
Marie Talon is a French author and screenwriter. She began her career in education as a dance/PE teacher and turned to theatre in 1983. In 1990, she was hired as the original co-host for the first season of Fort Boyard, but was fired after nine episodes. That same year she began studying filmmaking at the Conservatoire Libre du Cinéma Français (CLCF). She co-wrote the television series Le nuage du Père Noël broadcast on La 5 in December 1991. From 1994 to 1999, she was host of a cultural magazine for TV5. She began working as a corporate filmmaker in 2001. In 2013, her first biographical novel title Henry Valensi, l'heure est venue was published. In 2014, she met director Charlene Favier, with whom she co-wrote the short film Odol Gorri (2019) and the feature film Slalom (2021). In 2020, her first novel Entre deux vendredis 13 was published by Maia.
